About
Sports Intersection is a podcast and social media channel designed to spark conversations about sports, inclusion, and intersectionality in a way that's engaging and accessible to all.
Through storytelling, guest interviews, and expert insights, we amplify the voices of women, TIN*, and marginalized communities. Our content reflects on the diverse experiences within sports and explores how intersectionality shapes access, representation, and impact.
We aim to meet people where they are, breaking down barriers to understanding and inspiring action. Whether you're an athlete, a fan, or simply curious, Sports Intersection invites you to join the movement for a more inclusive, equitable world—on and off the field.

Reimagining a more inclusive functional training world with Mara
Functional Training is a tool to help you get stronger in everyday life—not just for today, but as you age. Unfortunately, it can often feel like a luxury or something unattainable. So, what does it mean to imagine a world where sports, and specifically Functional Training, is no longer limited by age, body size, ability, or gender? How do we shift our views on Functional Training? Together, we’re exploring the topic and reflecting on how our first exposure to sports in high school, our mindset, capitalism, beauty standards, and societal beliefs shape the way we approach fitness today.
